Dianne Eramo

Front End Developer

About Me

Hello! My name is Dianne Eramo and I live in Baltimore, MD. In my spare time I do a partnered social dance called Lindy Hop, cook food from around the world, go on runs with my dogs, play my ukulele, and travel around the country and world whenever I get the chance.

My degree is in economics and my work background is in financial operations, administration, and accounting, with a foray into owning my own women’s hair accessories business. Well, that’s a wide range, you may think, and admittedly it is. I've always been both analytical and creative, but fear won out and I chose a career path based on financial stability. I chose to pursue front end development because I think it's the perfect marriage of my varied skillsets in problem solving and aesthetics. And it's ludicrously fun.

I quit my accounting job in September 2015 to take the front end development course at Betamore and haven't looked back. I’m looking forward to a career in which passion, and not fear, is my primary motivator.

I'm currently focusing on learning JavaScript and jQuery.

Wired Betamore Project
This is a project I did for Betamore. The assigment was to recreate a Wired magazine page as a webpage. We started with the desktop version, so I included responsive styling as an add-on for the project.
